Password troubleshooting
If you are getting an error that your password isn't correct, you can use the "Forgot Password" function on the sign-in page. You will then get an email to reset your password. Be sure to check your SPAM folder.
Update Your Browser
If you encounter any other errors logging in, ensure your internet browser is updated to the latest version.
You can also try to open a private or incognito internet browser and try to login to Athena that way. If you are able to login through a private window, this means you need to clear your internet cache/browser history (we recommend you DON'T clear "Passwords and other sign in data") and then you should be able to login as normal.
To clear your cache on Google Chrome:
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click More .
Click More tools. Clear browsing data.
At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
Click Clear data.
If you've tried the steps above and are still getting an error or encountering another issue that prevents you from logging in, please take a screenshot and email [email protected] telling us what internet browser you're using (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and we can help you.
Email Verification
If you have requested an email change in the past but haven't verified it, when you try to login this error will display:
DB Login Custom script: The user athena|000 already exists. Verify if the user has changed the email. New email: [email protected]
If this error is showing for you, please search your inbox for an email from Athena to "Verify your Email Change".
If you still require assistance, reach out to [email protected].
