About our Coaches
Athena coaches are the top in their fields, contracted by Athena to provide professional coaching services to our members. They each bring extensive experience working with senior women leaders and C-Suite executives. From board selection and go-to-market strategy, to voice and presence coaching and branding insights. We encourage our members to leverage their expert guidance to get closer to their goals.
Athena's coaching is an add-on service, purchased separately from your membership plan. If you'd like to purchase coaching hours, navigate to the "My Sessions" tab within Athena, and select Buy Hours.
Choosing your Coach
You can explore our range of executive coaches by selecting "Find a Coach" under the Coaching tab on Athena.
Many members enjoy meeting with a range of coaches. You have the option to work with different coaches for every session you schedule, or you can stick with the same one. Select any coach on this page to view their bio, coaching style, and reviews from other members to find your best fit.
Schedule Your Coaching Session
Once you've purchase coaching hours and you select your coach, proceed with the following steps to schedule your one-on-one coaching session:
Select "Schedule Session" under your coaches profile.
Select a 20, 30, 60 or 90 minute Executive Coaching Session.
Select the available time frame that works for you.
Enter your contact information and confirm your appointment.
Add your coaching session to your personal calendar. During this step you can reschedule or cancel your appointment.
View Your Coaching Schedule
Navigate to "My Sessions" under the Coaching tab within Athena. Here, you are able view future coaching sessions you have scheduled and add them to your calendar.
Q: Do my coaching credits expire?
A: As long as your membership with Athena is active, you can access your coaching minutes and book appointments with a coach of your choice. If your Athena membership lapses, you will not be able to access you coaching minutes.
Q: How do I cancel or reschedule a coaching session?
A: We ask that members cancel at least 48 hours in advance. If you cancel twice, your session will still be charged against your balance (your meeting minutes will be deducted from your account). If you need to cancel coaching or reschedule your session, you can do so from your appointment confirmation email or appointment reminder email.
Q: Can I apply for opportunities before finishing my coaching hours?
A: You can apply for opportunities before finishing your coaching hours if you feel that you are a strong match. Make sure to write a strong pitch statement explaining in detail how you align with the opportunity's specific requirements. You will also be asked to share your most recent CV and bio. Q: Can I get a refund after purchasing hours?
A: No, Athena does not offer refunds on coaching hours.
