Steps to troubleshoot issues when uploading documents such as your Bio and Resume

When having issues uploading a document to your profile, it's most likely that it is due to the file size. The platform has an upload size limit, and some documents, especially with pictures, exceed that limit. To resolve this, you should compress the file;

If you're a Mac user:

  1. Launch the Preview app.

  2. Open the PDF that you want to compress

  3. Choose File > Export. (Don't choose Export as PDF)

  4. Click the Quartz Filter pop-up menu, then choose Reduce File Size (8MB)

If you're a PC user:

  1. Launch Acrobat and open the Optimize PDF tool.

  2. Locate the PDF and click Open.

  3. Click the Reduce File Size button on the top menu.

  4. Select the compatibility option you want (8MB) and click OK.

Once the file is compressed, upload it again to the Athena Platform. If you run into any issues, reach out to the MSM Team [email protected]
